Depreciation warning
Unfortunately, Scratch Tools is planned to be depreceated in late 2021 due to infrastructural and technical issues.Scratch Tools is built upon PHP, an amazing programming language. However, for this project, the language choice of PHP turned out to be a decision I regret. With PHP, this simple project became overly complicated, difficult to manage, and somewhat bloated in size. Therefore Scratch Tools will be rewritten as two separate modules, the client and the server, in Nuxt.js and Express.js respectively. Thus the website will be significantly faster and will have less downtime.
The new tool will be called Itinerary and is still under construction. A public Alpha version is expected to be released before September.
Finally, I would like to thank all the people who supported the creation of Scratch Tools! It was a journey; it still is one. Thank you!
